Part-Time Restaurant Manager
Our busy restaurant in Funchal is seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a part-time employee, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and still have time for other commitments. We are looking for someone without experience in management but with a passion for the restaurant industry and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards
- Train and supervise new employees, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Create work schedules and manage labor costs
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with head chef to develop menu offerings and specials
- Implement marketing strategies to increase business and attract new customers
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work in Funchal with valid visa sponsorship
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Passion for the restaurant industry and eagerness to learn about management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train employees
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
This is a part-time position offering a salary of 1700$ per month.
