Entry-Level Locksmith


A reputable locksmith company in Almada is seeking an entry-level locksmith to join our team. This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1400 per month. The ideal candidate will have no prior experience in the field, as we are looking for freshers who are eager to learn and grow with our company.

As an entry-level locksmith, you will be trained in all aspects of the profession, including key cutting, lock installation and repair, and emergency lockout services. You will work closely with experienced locksmiths to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior locksmiths with various tasks such as key duplication, lock installation, and emergency lockout services
- Learn how to use tools and equipment necessary for the job
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills
- Keep track of inventory and assist with ordering supplies when needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of locks and keys is preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary
