Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine (Bungoma, Kenya)
Our busy Indian restaurant in Bungoma is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to oversee our daily operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Indian cuisine and experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve overall customer satisfaction
- Train, manage, and schedule staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency
- Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine establishment
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and ability to train staff on traditional cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Proven track record of increasing sales and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
$1100 per month plus performance-based bonuses
