Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Clairvaux. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and culinary operations. This includes menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and supervising kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and be able to create innovative and authentic dishes that exceed guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase traditional Indian flavors while incorporating modern techniques
- Oversee food production and ensure high quality standards are met at all times
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain cost control
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or resort setting
- Proficient in Indian cuisine with the ability to create new dishes and adapt recipes as needed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1700 per month
