Junior Information Security Analyst


We are hiring a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team in Utena, Lithuania. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to mitigate them. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems and analyze security logs to identify potential threats or breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network
- Develop and implement security measures to protect against cyber attacks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices
- Assist with incident response and resolution as needed
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with information security policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability management processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISA
- Previous experience in information security or IT support
- Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or GDPR
- Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS or Azure)
