Fitter Technician - Lisbon, Portugal


We are currently hiring for the position of Fitter Technician in our company located in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$. Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain and repair mechanical systems and equipment such as engines, pumps, compressors, and conveyors
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, adjust or repair mechanical components
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of machines
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery and diagnose problems accurately
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve processes and procedures

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and their components
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
