Architectural Technologist


We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, construction, and renovation of various architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop detailed drawings and plans for building projects
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise technical drawings
- Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure project progress aligns with plans
- Research building codes, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance in all designs
- Prepare project estimates, budgets, and schedules
- Communicate with contractors and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Review contractor submissions and provide feedback as needed
- Attend client meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns or changes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design programs
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
