Crane Operator


We are a leading construction company in Nairobi and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating our cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including tower, mobile, and overhead cranes
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on cranes
- Ensure proper rigging and loading of materials onto the crane
- Follow all safety protocols while operating the crane
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe movement of materials
- Keep accurate records of daily operations and maintenance tasks
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a crane operator in a construction setting
- Valid crane operator license/certification
- Familiarity with different types of cranes and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operations
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with ground crew

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Location: This job is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
