Office Assistant (English Speaking)
We are hiring an Office Assistant to join our team in Nairobi. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You should have good communication skills in English and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and redirecting them when necessary
- Maintaining office supply inventory and placing orders when needed
- Assisting with bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and data entry
- Organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Handling basic accounting tasks, such as creating expense reports
- Keeping the office clean and organized
- Running errands for the office as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This is an ideal opportunity for a student or someone looking for part-time work. Salary is $1100 per month without accommodation. Preference will be given to Indian candidates.
