Office Assistant
As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office in Nairobi. This is a full-time position that does not require English proficiency and is open to foreigners with a biometric passport. Previous experience is not necessary as we will provide training, and accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- File and maintain documents
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with basic accounting tasks
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient office operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills in any language (English not required)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Preferred:
- Previous office administration experience
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners)
