Barber Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Barber Assistant to join our team in Mombasa. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about hair styling and wants to learn from experienced barbers. As an Indian-run business, we welcome Indian nationals or those with Indian heritage, but this is not a strict requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Assist barbers with all aspects of hair styling services
- Greet and engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Keep the salon clean and organized at all times
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Learn new techniques and styles from experienced barbers
- Help to manage inventory and restock supplies as needed

Requirements:
- No previous experience required, but a strong interest in hair styling is essential
- Willingness to learn from experienced barbers
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English proficiency preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya (visa sponsorship available)
- Accommodation is not provided, so local candidates are preferred
