Preservation Architect
We are seeking a dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team in Gujrat. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation, conservation, and restoration of historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure that all projects adhere to preservation standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and identify any potential preservation issues
- Developing plans for the preservation, conservation, and restoration of historic buildings and structures
- Working with clients to understand their needs and goals for the project
- Collaborating with contractors and other team members to ensure that all work is done in accordance with preservation standards
- Monitoring and inspecting ongoing preservation projects to ensure quality and adherence to regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of all project details, including budget, materials used, and progress updates
- Conducting research on historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations related to preservation work
- Experience working on preservation projects preferred but not required (freshers are welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members from different backgrounds
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Ability to conduct thorough research on historical architecture
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Gujrat (willingness to relocate preferred but not required)
Employment type: Contract (with potential for full-time employment)
