Welder (Contract Position)

We are hiring a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts using high heat and specialized equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding methods
- Clean, prepare, and set up materials for welding
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor the welding process and adjust as needed for quality control
- Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work area clean
- Follow all safety procedures and wear protective gear as required

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in similar projects or industries
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Familiarity with different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Knowledge of safety protocols for working with high heat and hazardous materials
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in various positions
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1000 per week. Accommodation will also be provided.
