Executive Chef - Oslo, Norway


As an Executive Chef at our upscale restaurant in Oslo, Norway, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the kitchen operations. Your creativity, leadership skills, and passion for food will drive the success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and innovative menu offerings that align with our restaurant's concept and target market.
- Ensure quality and consistency of all food items prepared by the kitchen team.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to control costs while maintaining high-quality ingredients.
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine-dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation styles.
- Ability to lead a team with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach.
- Adept at managing budgets, inventory levels, ordering systems, and cost control measures.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants or establishments with international recognition.
- Knowledge of Norwegian cuisine is highly desirable but not required.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Norwegian is beneficial but not necessary.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per week (50 000$ per year) plus opportunities for performance-based bonuses. We also provide health insurance benefits for eligible employees.
