Preservation Architect
We are in search of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to conservation guidelines and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, historical preservation techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and preservation agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation work
- Develop detailed preservation plans and designs that align with conservation guidelines and client requirements
- Oversee construction projects to ensure that preservation work is being carried out accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to implement preservation plans and address any issues that may arise
- Conduct research on historical styles, materials, and construction techniques to inform preservation decisions
- Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for clients and regulatory agencies
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, best practices, and conservation regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Architect or Preservation Architect
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction techniques, materials used in historic buildings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Knowledge of conservation guidelines and regulations related to historic preservation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Salary: $1500 per month
This position is suitable for both men and women without any prior experience. We provide visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. The role is full-time with no accommodation provided.
