Architectural Preservation Manager


We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Utena, Egypt. As the Architectural Preservation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of preserving and protecting historical buildings and structures. Your role will involve conducting research, developing preservation plans, managing projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders such as government agencies, developers, and local communities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural preservation
- Strong knowledge of historical building materials and techniques
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
- Fluency in English is preferred
- Egyptian nationality preferred

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on the history, design, and construction of historical buildings
- Developing preservation plans that ensure the long-term protection of these structures
- Collaborating with government agencies and other stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for preservation projects
- Managing preservation projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing contractors
- Conducting regular site visits to ensure project progress is in line with preservation plans
- Educating local communities on the importance of preserving historical buildings and structures
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all preservation activities
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in preservation techniques
