Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our upscale restaurant in the vibrant city of Al-Kuwait, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu creation and food preparation to managing kitchen staff and ensuring top-notch quality and presentation of dishes. Responsibilities:
- Develop and design creative menus that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences
- Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Monitor food preparation methods to maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
- Oversee kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth flow of orders and timely delivery of dishes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, pricing strategies, and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Creativity in menu planning with an eye for detail in presentation
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills (English proficiency required)
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary: $1200 USD per month (tax-free)
Location: Al-Kuwait
