Preservation Architect - Ashdod, Israel


Our architectural firm is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their long-term sustainability and functionality.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures in need of preservation
- Develop plans and strategies for preserving historical sites while maintaining their authenticity
- Work with government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for preservation projects
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure structural integrity of preserved buildings
- Oversee construction and restoration projects, ensuring they adhere to preservation guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections of preserved sites to monitor their condition and address any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, building materials, and preservation techniques
- Experience working with government agencies and obtaining necessary permits/approvals
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary: $1600/month

Location: Ashdod, Israel (candidates must have a valid biometric passport)
