Electrical Engineer - Power Systems


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As an Electrical Engineer - Power Systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for a variety of projects. Your main focus will be on power systems engineering and you will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop power systems for various projects, including power distribution, transmission, and generation systems
- Conduct feasibility studies and determine the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for power system design
- Create detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or other software tools
- Develop technical specifications for equipment and materials required for projects
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Perform calculations and simulations to analyze the performance of power systems
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the design or implementation process
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to power systems engineering

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power systems engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Akron, Ohio (open to candidates from all nationalities)
