IT Manager (Faro, Portugal)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our company's information technology department. This is a contract role with a salary of 1300$, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure use of technology within the company
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Manage budgets for IT projects and equipment purchases
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security protocols
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology to identify opportunities for improvement within the company

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, security protocols, and data management
- Experience with budget management and project planning
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Biometric passport required for international travel
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
