We are in need of a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Funchal. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out accurate measurements and collecting data related to land boundaries, elevations, and features. Your work will play a crucial role in the planning and development of various construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting land surveys using various tools including GPS, total stations, and levels
- Collecting data on land boundaries, elevations, and features such as buildings or natural landmarks
- Analyzing survey data and creating detailed reports
- Creating maps and drawings using specialized software
- Communicating with clients to understand project goals and provide progress updates
- Conducting research on property records to determine boundary lines and ownership information
- Working closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate measurements for project planning
- Adhering to safety protocols while working in the field
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in good working condition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience working as a land surveyor is an asset but not required
- Knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical fitness for working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Funchal. While we prefer candidates who can work locally without accommodation provided by the company, we are open to considering candidates who require accommodation or have their own visa.
