Part-time Interpreter


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team on a part-time basis in Horsens, Denmark. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for clients from various backgrounds. Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, over the phone or via video conferencing
- Interpret accurately and objectively between parties who speak different languages
- Understand and accurately convey cultural nuances and context
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Research unfamiliar terms or concepts as needed to ensure accurate interpretation
- Prepare for each assignment by familiarizing yourself with relevant terminology and background information
- Adhere to professional standards of conduct and ethics
- Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter or in a similar role
- Excellent command of English and at least one other language (preferably Danish)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of cultural differences
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (medical/legal/technical) is preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or holidays when needed
