Cashier for Indian Restaurant in Akron


We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team at an Indian restaurant in Akron. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the restaurant and provide a warm welcome
- Process orders and payments accurately using our POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items or special promotions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain proper cash balances
- Assist with restocking inventory and preparing deposits at the end of each shift

Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Cashier in a restaurant or retail setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. The working hours will vary based on the restaurant's schedule, but may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position does not include accommodation.
