Carpenter vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Carpenter

We are a fast-growing construction company based in Al-Khor and we are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, as well as other materials. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about carpentry and looking to grow their skills in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalks, or marking gauges
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Join materials together using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Repair damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary:
Starting salary of 1000$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This position is based in Al-Khor but may require occasional travel within Qatar.
