Experienced Glazier in Vianden, Luxembourg
We are in search of an experienced Glazier to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of glass and other related materials in various structures such as buildings, homes, and vehicles. You will also be required to measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions and work with different types of glass including safety glass, mirrored glass, and decorative glass.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions using specialized tools
- Install glass panels into frames or structures using sealants or putty
- Repair or replace damaged or broken glass in windows, doors, mirrors, or other structures
- Work with a variety of materials including safety glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, and decorative glass
- Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old materials and cleaning the area thoroughly
- Collaborate with contractors or other professionals on projects that require multiple trades
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Strong measurement skills to ensure precise cutting and fitting of glass panels
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members on projects
Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
