Junior Database Administrator

As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and optimization of our company's databases. This will involve monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing changes as needed. You will also work closely with our development team to support new projects and ensure the integrity and security of our data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database concepts and SQL, as well as experience with database management systems such as MySQL or Oracle. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Assist with database optimization for improved efficiency
- Work with development team to support new projects and ensure data integrity
- Create and maintain documentation on database processes and procedures
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Collaborate with other members of the tech team to improve overall system performance

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL
- Experience with at least one relational database management system (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
