Experienced Truck Driver

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Almada. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another while following all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires a biometric passport and is urgent, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Transport goods from one location to another in a safe and timely manner
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies
- Inspect truck before and after each trip, reporting any issues or damages
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radios or cell phones
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules while considering road conditions, weather, and traffic
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including weight limits and securement of cargo

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Biometric passport
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Salary: Starting at $1200 per month
