Preservation Architect

A leading architecture firm in Moscow is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for preserving historical buildings and structures, as well as a deep understanding of architectural history and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful execution of preservation projects
- Conduct research on architectural history and techniques related to specific projects
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for preservation work
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals for preservation projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations
- Monitor progress of preservation projects and make any necessary adjustments or changes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, techniques, materials, and processes related to preservation work
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or other design software is preferred
- Experience working with historical organizations or agencies is a plus
Salary: $1800 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Moscow (open to candidates from other countries who are willing to relocate)
