Plasterboard Worker

We are hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard and drywall on construction sites. You must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
- Install plasterboard on walls, ceilings, and partitions
- Apply tape, joint compound, and other finishing materials to seams and nail holes
- Smooth out imperfections and ensure a smooth surface for painting or wallpapering
- Repair any damaged or uneven areas of plasterboard
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Communicate with contractors and other workers to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in plasterboarding, drywall installation, or carpentry preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Valid visa or work permit (visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate)

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. While prior experience is an asset, we are also open to hiring candidates without experience who are eager to learn.
