Turner - Metal Fabricator


We are a growing metal fabrication company located in Clairvaux and we are seeking an experienced Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, with excellent skills in turning and shaping metal parts.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Set up and operate manual or computer-controlled turning machines to perform turning operations on metal components
- Use various tools such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines to shape and smooth metal parts
- Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Inspect finished parts for defects or imperfections and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with engineers and designers on design changes or improvements
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or Metal Fabricator
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and equipment operation
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience working with various metals such as steel, aluminum, and brass
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Salary: $1700 per month

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company.
