Pastry Chef - Lisbon, Portugal
We are searching for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our guests.
As a successful candidate, you must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients. You should also have a creative flair and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake various desserts, pastries, and breads according to recipes
- Create new dessert menu items while keeping up with seasonal trends
- Ensure that all food products are of high quality, fresh, and properly presented
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Proven knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Must be flexible with working hours including weekends
