Crane Operator
A reputable construction company in Eschen is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane while following all safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Inspect cranes before and after use to ensure they are in good working condition
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio to safely move materials
- Ensure that loads are properly secured before lifting them
- Monitor weather conditions to determine if it is safe to operate the crane
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Keep track of inventory and report any maintenance needs for the crane
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a crane operator in a construction setting
- Valid certification or license for operating cranes in the assigned area
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations for operating cranes
- Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts for different types of cranes
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Physically fit with good stamina as this job requires standing for long periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1300$ per month.
Location:
This position is based in Eschen, but we welcome applicants from all nationalities who have valid work permits for working in Eschen.
