Cashier - Faisalabad, Pakistan (Contract)

A reputable retail store in Faisalabad is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team on a contract basis. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized cash register area, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Cashier, strong math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an urgent position and candidates with their own visa will be given preference.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit card, and check payments accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balance at all times
- Scan items and enter prices into the system
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets as needed
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
- Friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English (Urdu proficiency is an advantage)
- Must have own visa for Pakistan
