Executive Chef


As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our restaurant kitchen in Braga. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive high-quality and delicious meals while maintaining a profitable and efficient kitchen. You will also be responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff, developing menus, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create new menus and dishes while keeping up with current food trends
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety procedures, and portion control
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of ingredients while minimizing waste
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to our standards of quality and presentation
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Handle any customer complaints or special requests regarding food preparation or allergies

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, menu development, and plating presentation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Creativity in developing new menus

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Braga but candidates from other cities in Portugal will also be considered.
