Junior Civil Engineer - Contract Position in Faroe-Islands


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Faroe-Islands on a contract basis. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers with project planning, design, and construction, while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop project plans and designs
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data for project planning
- Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Provide support during construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers
- Perform quality control checks on materials and construction methods
- Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1+ years of experience in civil engineering (internship experience will be considered)
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations is preferred

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.
