Contract Architectural Designer in Faroe-Islands


We are currently hiring a talented and experienced Architectural Designer to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Contract Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating architectural plans and drawings for various projects. You must have previous experience in the field, as well as a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Create detailed architectural drawings and plans for residential and commercial buildings
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs meet all necessary standards
- Conduct site visits to gather information, take measurements, and assess potential challenges
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of designs
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and changes in building codes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Architectural Designer
- Proficient in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate designs within deadlines

Preferred:
- Experience working on projects in Faroe Islands or similar location
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Fluency in Danish or Faroese language

Salary: $1600 per month
