Junior Android Developer



As a Junior Android Developer, you will work with our team in Funchal to develop innovative and user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment while contributing to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our Android applications
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and efficient code
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development
- Work closely with designers to implement UI/UX designs that provide an optimal user experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or internal stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Good communication skills

Preferences:
- Prior experience developing mobile applications for Android
- Familiarity with Git version control system
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to take on new challenges
