Android Developer (Contract)
Location: Svalbard, Norway

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for our company. This role requires strong technical skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to work independently. You will be working closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mobile applications for Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient code and ensure its quality through testing and debugging
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and knowledge sharing within the team
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in Android development using Java or Kotlin
- Proficient understanding of Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience with cross-platform development (React Native or Flutter)
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and design patterns for mobile applications
- Published at least one original Android application on Google Play Store

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
