Seasonal Executive Chef in Salalah, Oman


We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Salalah, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest level of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that align with our restaurant's concept and standards
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers and maintain inventory levels
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary goals
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and menu development
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a seasonal position or remote location is a plus
- Knowledge of Omani cuisine is highly desirable but not required
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred

Salary:
As this is a seasonal position, the salary will be $1500 per month. However, there is potential for bonuses based on performance.

Accommodation:
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide accommodation for this position. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who already have their own accommodations in Salalah or are willing to secure their own housing.

Visa:
Candidates must have their own valid visa for working in Oman. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
