Indian Executive Chef in Muscat
A renowned restaurant in Muscat is seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Executive Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Our ideal candidate is a creative and innovative chef with a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that showcase the best of Indian cuisine
- Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes are prepared according to our standards
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of necessary ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Creativity in menu planning and dish presentation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Arabic knowledge is a plus)
- Valid work visa for Oman (sponsorship available)
