Executive Chef - Malayalee Cuisine
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious Malayalee cuisine dishes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$, and we are specifically looking for candidates from Kerala, India.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus featuring authentic Malayalee dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Work closely with restaurant managers to meet customer satisfaction goals
- Source and order ingredients from local suppliers
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu items
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Proficiency in cooking traditional Malayalee cuisine dishes is a must
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
