Construction Project Manager

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction project management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage project teams
- Experience with budgeting and cost control
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project budgets and timelines, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Review plans and specifications for accuracy and compliance with building codes
- Hire contractors and subcontractors; negotiate contracts; review work quality
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety standards, and quality control
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
- Ensure that all necessary permits are obtained before starting construction activities
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses, progress reports, change orders, etc.
- Provide regular updates to management on project status

We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this contract position. As this is a contract job without accommodation provided, candidates must be able to secure their own housing in Malindi.
