Junior Back-End Developer


Our growing technology company in Svalbard is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Back-End Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our experienced developers to design, develop and maintain back-end applications that support our web and mobile platforms. We are looking for someone who is passionate about coding and eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end applications using modern programming languages such as Python or Java
- Write efficient and scalable code that follows industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to enhance the performance of our applications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn new technologies

Salary: $1500 per month
