Entry-level Crane Operator in Svalbard

As a crane operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to move heavy materials and equipment on and off ships, barges, or other locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Requirements:
- Must have a valid crane operator certification
- Prior experience operating cranes preferred but not required
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Willing to work in remote locations without accommodation

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to move heavy materials and equipment on and off ships, barges, or other locations
- Inspect cranes before use to ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols while operating the crane
- Communicate with other crew members on the ship or barge to ensure safe movement of materials
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including lifts completed and any incidents or accidents that occur

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
