Entry-Level Crane Operator - Svalbard, Norway

We are hiring an entry-level crane operator to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials on construction sites or in industrial settings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Requirements:
- Must have completed basic training as a crane operator
- Valid crane operator license (preferably from Norway)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours and in all weather conditions
- No previous experience required - we are willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-operation inspections on cranes and report any issues or malfunctions
- Lift and move materials according to job site requirements
- Communicate with other personnel on the ground using hand signals or radio communication
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work area
