Debt Collection Agent

As a Debt Collection Agent, you will be responsible for contacting debtors and negotiating payment plans to recover outstanding debts. You will work closely with clients and legal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of debt issues. This position requires excellent communication skills, as well as strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-pressure situations. This is a full-time position based in Split, with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Contact debtors via phone, email or mail to discuss outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Maintain accurate records of all communication with debtors
- Collaborate with clients and legal teams to resolve difficult cases
- Provide regular updates on progress and outcomes to clients
- Utilize various collection techniques to ensure successful recovery of debts
- Identify potential risks and escalate issues as needed
- Adhere to state and federal laws and regulations regarding debt collection
- Meet monthly targets for debt recovery

Requirements:
- Egyptian nationality preferred but not required
- Fluency in English is not required but would be considered an asset
- No prior experience in debt collection necessary; training will be provided
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Valid visa for Croatia (or able to obtain one)
- Willingness to relocate if currently living outside of Split
