Commercial Architect - Shan, Africa


We are hiring a skilled Commercial Architect to join our team in Shan, Africa. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, shopping centers, and hotels. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for managing project budgets and timelines, conducting site visits, and coordinating with contractors and engineers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial architecture, strong design skills, and excellent communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and vision for the commercial building project
- Create detailed plans, blueprints, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure that designs comply with local building codes and regulations
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that construction is following the approved plans
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or changes in design
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in commercial architecture techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience as a Commercial Architect or similar role
- Strong design skills with proficiency in CAD software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, etc.
- Project management experience preferred
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Shan (accommodation not provided)
