Junior Commercial Architect

We are a leading architectural firm in the Faroe Islands seeking a Junior Commercial Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in architecture and at least 1-2 years of experience in commercial projects. They should be skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other architectural software and have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to design commercial buildings
- Create detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Attend client meetings and present design proposals
- Prepare project estimates and budgets
- Coordinate with engineering teams on structural, electrical, and mechanical aspects of projects
- Monitor construction progress and provide guidance on design changes if needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other architectural software
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills for client meetings and presentations
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.

This position is located in the Faroe Islands. Applicants must have a valid biometric passport or be eligible for one.
