Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist



As a Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting health and wellness through proper nutrition. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized nutrition plans to meet their specific needs and goals. Your expertise in food and nutrition will help educate individuals on healthy eating habits, as well as provide support for those with medical conditions that require specialized diets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients
- Create personalized nutrition plans based on individual needs, preferences, and health goals
- Monitor and track patient progress and make adjustments to plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper nutrition, portion control, and healthy eating habits
- Provide guidance on meal planning, grocery shopping, and food preparation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate into practice

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field
- Certification or licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Nutritionist (RDN)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a dietitian or nutritionist
- Extensive knowledge of food and human nutrition
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and interpretation for evidence-based practice

Location:

This position is located in Porto, Portugal. Candidates must have own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal. Accommodation can be provided if necessary.

Salary:

Salary for this position starts at $1100 per month but may vary based on experience and qualifications.
