We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Greenland. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu creation to food preparation and presentation. Your creativity and leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring that our restaurant offers exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase local ingredients and reflect current food trends
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profits
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking techniques and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes while maintaining consistent quality
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff, suppliers, and management
- Understanding of food cost control measures and experience managing budgets

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Certification from a recognized culinary institute or association
- Safe Food Handling certification
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Danish or Greenlandic is an asset)

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month. The working hours may vary depending on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. As Greenland is known for its harsh weather conditions, candidates should be physically fit and prepared to work in cold temperatures.
